The Tsai Laboratory is based at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Department of Pathology with close ties to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Broad Institute, and Harvard Medical School. The Tsai lab is focused on understanding how ubiquitin biology and protein degradation regulate transcription, oncogenesis, and cell fate decisions.

We use a combination of molecular biology, functional genetics, epigenetics, proteomics, and biochemistry. We are committed to understanding how cancer and other diseases stem from the dysregulation of protein stabilities of driver proteins, and how we can use this understanding to better diagnose and treat patients.
